2014 theme need to scale slider

  • I am doing a class project and want to scale the slider to fit the images that I have chosen. I am not real familiar with wordpress so any advice would be great. Currently the slider is the full width of the site minus the sidebar and I would like it to be half width and shorter. Site is jcdesigns.us

  • Trying defining the width of the images in the slider and the height in CSS. Something like this:

    #featured-content img {
   width: 100%;
   height: auto;
}

    You may have to target the CSS classes better though!

    I appreciate your response Mark Wilkinson and will give that a try to see what happens.

    Otherwise you could use javascript to read the image width, and scale the slider to suit.
