• My old review (I was angry and I am sorry)

    The current update broke all twenty six sites that I maintain for my clients.

    Is it even tested? Can’t even rollback to the previous versions.

    Removed it for good. Thanks for ruining what was once a great plugin.

    This was indeed a good plugin in the hands of the original developer. The new development is disappointing.

    I am a long time user and the above mishap (sometimes it happens to anyone of us) just made me react badly. I take my words back. Give it a test run and use the plugin to stop spammy registrations and comments.

    Also note that, sometimes it blocks legit users too. But you can configure it to avoid such false positives.

  • Hi @hydrogriff, I am working on a fix right now. I have added new features to the free version as a gesture of goodwill for taking over the project, but one such addition caused an issue that I didn’t catch in any of my test sites. It will be back later today. Please reconsider removing it for good. I will update my process for releasing a new version.

    The fix works now and have been deployed on all sites. Thank you for a prompt response. I reacted impulsively and I am sorry. I was initially worried that the plugin would eventually lock all free features and move pro only, but now I realize that I am wrong.
