• I just upgraded to 2.03 without reading anything about it (my bad for sure). Now my randomizing header is busted.

    ??

I am using the randomize plugin from Anders found here:
    https://andersdrengen.dk/projects/randomize/

The only thing I noticed that changed after I upped to 2.03 was the header.php file which I went back in and edited per Anders instructions. (I have emailed Anders to see if he has looked at 2.03 …just waiting to hear back from him)

anyone else had this problem? I’ve spent quite a while this morning trying to figure it out with no luck.

    This is sort of related.

I was using this plug-in (version .2) with 2.0.7 with no problems. However, the other day, I upgraded to 2.1.2, and the plugin still works, but I can’t edit what it calls to random because I cannot reach the interface- I go to Manage > Randomize > and it takes me to my custom 404 html page I created.

Any idea how to call up the correct page so I can add new quotes and headers and whatnot?

Anders has not gone any further then the 2.0.5 version… he posted a notice on his blog (which he brought to my attention) that he has stopped working on plug-ins because the rest of life has gotten in the way.

That’s a shame. It’s one of the best multipurpose plugins I’ve found. It’s perfect for randomizing anything you need to.

Yeah… too bad no one seems to know of where I can access the files manually and maybe update them through there instead if that’s even possible. ??
