Activating comments on pages

  • Hi,

    I’ve set up a page on my blog, for which I would like to enable people to leave comments. I’ve turned comments on but for some reason the option for visitors to leave comments is not showing on this page.

    I’m not sure what I’m doing wrong and am wondering whether this has something to do with the theme I’m using (Blue Box – https://www.blogohblog.com/wordpress-theme-blue-box/).

    Any advice would be hugely appreciated.

  • Yes, it is a theme-specific issue. Most themes, rightly, do not have the call for the comments template in the Page templates.
    You will need to create an additional Page template that has the call (see how it is done in the single.php or index.php) and then select this template for your Page.
