After the 2.1 update, (with all plugins disabled) none of my products are showing, just 404 pages. The Woocommerce > Settings > Pages tab is gone. The shortcodes:

[woocommerce_pay] – shows the checkout pay page
[woocommerce_thankyou] – shows the order received page [woocommerce_edit_address] – shows the user account edit address page [woocommerce_view_order] – shows the user account view order page [woocommerce_change_password] – shows the change password page [woocommerce_lost_password] – shows the lost password page

aren’t working and the pages these shortcodes were on have vanished.

Read the changelog – these pages are gone (replaced with endpoints).

Go to settings > permalinks and hit save if you have problems. M

Hey mike, I’ve flushed permalinks – I didn’t solve the issue.

If by solve the issue you mean make those shortcodes work, it won’t. They don’t exist.

Delete the pages if you tried remaking them. To access those pages, go via my account. E.g. the edit password link will link to an endpoint instead.

Hey again, it’s not just the short codes brother, none of my products will show up – I’m just getting 404 pages for every product. So I understand now that those shortcodes are gone, I can work with that and the endpoints, no problem. But my products aren’t showing and the Pages tab in woocommerce > settings is gone. Thoughts on this?

Wait, flushing permalinks did make my products reappear as Mike said by going to “settings > permalinks and hit save” and if those shortcodes are gone and any of them we’re pages in my main menu I can now go to the my account page and copy and paste the links (change password, edit address etc) and use them as “link” menu items which brings everything back to normal except the woocommerce > settings > pages tab missing which I’m assuming is missing because those pages and shortcodes are now endpoints in the my account page is that correct Mike?

Yes Danny thats correct. If you really need them in your menus, use links. That said, the pages are all accessible via My Account so that may not be necessary. And you definitely don’t want links to your ‘pay’ page – let the checkout handle it.

I’m going to sticky this for the time being so others can see the solution/see that those shortcodes are gone.

    Cheers

Alright excellent, that makes a lot of sense having the my account page be a central profile page with all the old page options and shortcodes in one place.

    Thanks Mike

Sounds good Mike, hopefully this will help a few other people.

Does only me have the problem, when showing the categories on main shop page instead of products – the category link leads to a page of category thumbnail image and not to a products page?
Same situation I have on default themes and clean wordpress (just intalled, with none plugins).

The product name, price, variations, add to cart and pinit are all going in a straight line down the middle of each product page…was fine before the update but now is wicked! elasticheadbands.org

How do I correct this? Please know I’m not a programmer so please keep the correction simple. ??

    Thanks you.

Also, I tried in different browsers, cleaned all browser caches, deactivated all plugins but woocommerce…still had problem. I’m using the 2013 theme.

Problem solved…I reverted back to the older version!

I am a complete novice, trying to get my shop working again after the update–I did what was recommended here (flushing permalinks) and now I can at least view my products from the “View Product” link in the WP dashboard, but when I click through to the main shop page on my website absolutely nothing is showing up–no products, no categories, just “No products found which match your selection.” Is this still an issue with the plugin, or is this an issue with my theme? I’m using Organic Shop by QuiteNiceStuff/QNS and it’s built for WooCommerce integration.

Please don’t continue hijacking this topic for your own question. Open a new topic (as required per the forum policy) and possibly reference this topic if the issue is similar.

I have added the issue this topic was originally about to our list of common issues after the WooCommerce 2.1 update: Lots of pages 404 error after WooCommerce 2.1 update and this has also been permanently fixed in the WooCommerce 2.1.1 fix release.

Please ensure you are updated to that fix release and manually flush your permalinks to see if this issue has been resolved for you. If not, it’s not the same issue as described in this topic, so please make a new one.

My problem with the new woocommerce 2.1 update is only (at least for now) with several pages from the my account (for example, “forgot your password?”).
I do not understand how the End Point, even if here it seems that they try to explain it.
Do does not “Forgot your password?” no shortcode? how relates to “My account”? how to make the kind of code that appears in “Accounts” for each page – EndPoint – be added to the URL of the page “Forgot your password?” and other pages?

    Thanks in advance.
