• After the 2.1 update, the WYSIWYG editor is misbehaving badly on both Firefox and IE. It didn’t make sense to open multiple topics to cover all of these:

    1) IE 7: Write post page loads with errors on page. One Syntax Error (line 2, char 1) and one Access Denied error (line 173, char 290)

    2) IE 7: Clicking the HTML link button produces popup boxes with no text inside. I can’t grab and drag them or close them. Only way to get rid of the boxes is to refresh the page.

    3) Firefox 1.5xx — Clicking the HTML link button produces popup boxes with no text inside. I can’t grab and drag them or close them. Only way to get rid of the boxes is to refresh the page

    4) IE 7 — Image uploading — Browse Tab — clicking on image produces series of boxes (labeled URL, Thumbnail linked to file, Thumbnail linked to code) with HTML code, apparently for cutting and pasting. Clicking on image from Firefox 2.0x produces radio buttons for inserting image.

  • I have the same problem and can’t find any solution for this. Does noone else has this problem?

i cant write a new post or i cant edit an post please help

Also having similar problem. Someone please advise.

I’m going to bump this, since I’m experiencing the same issues ever since upgrading a client from 2.0x to 2.2. I’m getting similar problems in IE6 and Firefox 2 on Windows, but only in certain environemnts.

I have 20 other blogs to upgrade, but am leery if this problem is going to persist. I’ve noticed several other posts with similar or identical issues, but I’ve yet to see a real solution.
