• We had installed this plug in on our site. The root URL is simply a *.*.com. The blog is at *.*.com/blog. Google Analytics is configured for the root domain, *.*.com. During a recent update to the plugin, the key line of the js snippet changed from:

    ga(‘create’, ‘UA-XXXXXXX-X’, ‘x.x.com’);

    to

    ga(‘create’, ‘UA-XXXXXXX-X’, ‘x.x.com/blog’);

    As a result, GA traffic seemed to drop almost to zero. Anyway, once we fixed the snippet of code ourselves and put it in the footer.php, everything went back to normal.

    Also, even though there is an option to do a “custom,” the Save button never seemed to work.

    I would look elsewhere.
