line 17 error, wp-blog-header.php

  • Hi all,

    I hope someone can help. I’m pretty new to all this, and after I uploaded my wordpress files, the following error showed up:

    Warning: require(./wp-blog-header.php) [function.require]: failed to open stream: No such file or directory in /home/content/t/o/v/toverzat/html/index.php on line 17

    Fatal error: require() [function.require]: Failed opening required ‘./wp-blog-header.php’ (include_path=’.:/usr/local/php5/lib/php’) in /home/content/t/o/v/toverzat/html/index.php on line 17

    I deleted all the wordpress files and uploaded again, but the same thing happened. I use godaddy for hosting and firezilla as my FTP client.

    Any help would be greatly appreciated!! Thank you ??

    The error is saying this file is missing.
    Either it didn’t get uploaded or you uploaded your theme incorrectly

    Hi! I’ve the same problem

    I check the file twice on server, even exist. What do you mean with “uploaded your theme incorrectly”.

    I also have this problem
    Use the same theme (same source files) on the site and 3 subsites. The subsites work fine, the site in the root is causing issues.

    I have the primary site in folder www
    The subsites are in subfolder e.g. www/subsite

    Only the primary is having this issue..

    Update
    I have installed a new subsite called test using the identical files (except wp-config.php) from the primary site and installed the new sub site. Works perfect. So why is the primary site giving issues..
