I have a polldaddy account, and just installed polldaddy on my blog. After activated the polldaddy plugin I was requested to login to my polldaddy account. But even if I writes in the correct username and password – nothing happends. I am sure I uses the coorect login info.

    Any ideas ?

  • Interesting. The plugin is not working for me either, but, I did manage to publish a widget generated on my polldaddy account (Polls/Widgets). I pasted the javascript into a WP post in ‘code view’…

    I’ll look into this later…

Ah. I see there was a new version pushed yesterday. I’ll upgrade later…

    Hello,

The new version throws an error with 2.7b2….

    …but I use 2.6

I am having exactly the same problem on 2.7 rc1

same problem here on 2.7 official release

Same problem here also on 2.7 official release, additional server details available upon request.

Do you guys have a wordpress.com blog or are you hosting your own? If you’re hosting your own, did you install this additional plugin as well?

    Same problem, with 2.6.5.

Nothing happens when I type in my polldaddy.com email and password on PollDaddy Account page, as requested after plugin (ver 0.8) activation. Not error message, nothing. Could someone help?!

Does it matter that I’m signed in as an admin?

@webartistry; It was told in another thread (https://www.ads-software.com/support/topic/210731?replies=5) that the additional plugin is no longer needed. What might be the truth?

Or are there any known plugin conflicts?

Like arikontiainen, I had read that both plugins were no-longer needed. However when I try entering my PollDaddy account info into WordPress with both plugins enabled, I get the following error.
Catchable fatal error: Object of class WP_Error could not be converted to string in /wp-content/plugins/polldaddy/polldaddy-xml.php on line 57

Looks like Automattic is not too interested in neither answering to the thread nor correcting the situation. Sad.

I started using SurveyGizmo instead. At least their plugin works and their offering looks & feels pretty much the same – for surveys anyway.

After activating the polldaddy plugin and entering my login info to my polldaddy account nothing happens. Its weird, I know something is supposed to happen.

Im on wp2.7 self hosted Bluehost.

although I am able to get the shortcodes from Polldaddy and add them to my posts. From the Screen shots I’ve seen (from wp2.6+) people are editing their polls in wp…

Anybody have an answer or solution?

When tested with a self-hosted WordPress blog on WordPress v2.7.1 with PollDaddy 2.5 and PollDaddy Polls 0.9, I no longer get the error listed above, however I continually get the message that I need to enter my PollDaddy details and when I try to enter them it does not save them.

    Wow.

    PollDaddy 2.5 plugin + PollDaddy Polls 0.9 plugin + WordPress 2.7.1 = Total FAIL.

Self hosted. Enter my polldaddy account info, hit submit, page refreshes, data fields are empty…wash rinse repeat.
