    And what happened to the WordPress web ring? I’d like to see one started again, it’s a great way to showcase all the WP sites out there….

    we’re quoting unsubstantiated numbers then? cool. Movable Type has 537, 473 users and Blogger has 1 283 034 ??

    That would make SixApart very happy indeed ??
    One of the people involved in WP runs a script that counts WP hits through – I believe – weblogs.com, so made up it is not.
    Increasing it is though:
    total wordpress blogs: 24219
    (and Blogger ? 262767)
