404 error when trying to post images

  • so thanks to the gracious help of moderator MichaelH, my site is visible again.

    however now when i’m trying to insert pictures into my posts its giving me the 404 error.

    i’ve tried switching around the permalinks and nothing happens. so far thats the only thing i’ve tried. don’t even know if thats what i should be doing in the first place, but after reading thru a bunch of 404 error posts thats what i came up with.

    any other help on this is greatly appreciated….i’m going to keep at it in the meantime.

    this is the message i’m getting when i try to insert into the post:

    i’ve tried using firefox, updating flash….the only other thing i see that could maybe be done is messing with the security, which seems like not such a good idea.

    You typed the address incorrectly, like https://www.example.com/pgae.html instead of https://www.example.com/page.html

    anyone? mods? still unable to post images…have also contacted my host to see if they can help but so far no reply.
