Error: Could not discover an OpenID identity server endpoint

    I have a known good OpenID (I use it plenty of other places) that I can’t seem to verify with Word Press. The OpenID plugin is installed. From https://www.example.com/blog/wp-admin I go to “Users -> Your OpenIDs” and add https://id.mayfirst.org/abh (my OpenID). This returns an error that reads:

    Error: Could not discover an OpenID identity server endpoint at the url: https://id.mayfirst.org/abh

    I get the same error if I use unencrypted http.

    Any suggestions?
