Comment/Post count plugin?

    Another nice little gimmicky thing I see used is this comment count number in the top right hand corner of a comment, and when going to a comment preview it also displays it ehre. Again a similar thing is used in actual posts to singy the number of the post.

    Is there a plugin that does both or is this built into WP and I just need to edit something?
