Weird Text editor glitch: I want to change text color and it changes font style

    HELP! Everything was OK until 2 days ago. I had been working perfectly with wp, when all of a sudden if I tried to change the color of some text (using the text editor) it changed the font style. It only happens on my PC, tried with other PCs and it works just fine.
    For instance: I write “ABC”, I highlight it, click the color button and select red: this is the code it results from doing that:
    <span style=”font-family: mceinline;”>ABC</span>
    It changes the font style!!! Whats going on here??? I haven′t installed anything new on my PC… everything else works fine on the editor. Haven′t installed any new plugin… running out of ideas…
    Any help guys????
    If I do it through the code it works fine, but I would like to fix the editor so I dont have to be doing it through code, which takes more time.

  • What browser are you using and what other browsers have you tried?

    Ok esmi, we are onto something now… I′ve been using Chrome, but I just tried it with IE, and it works fine, so weve narrowed it down to the chrome browser in my PC, I haven′t done any changes to it, so I wouldn′t know what could have caused this, since it was OK 3 days ago…

    I upgraded to WP 8 and the problem somehow was solved… Never found the original cause though…
