2.8 & mootools

    Any obvious reason why a mootools 1.2.2 slider in my custom template would stop working after upgrading from 2.7 to 2.8? Image/media insertion when creating a new post doesn’t save unless I comment out my slider scripts from the template. I’ll prolly re-write it to use the “native” scriptalicious slider to avoid future issues but am curious as to what happened.

    btw: pre 2.8, when creating or editing a post, one could click the “Ad an Image” button without first giving focus to the “body” field with no unusual results. As of this posting, focus MUST be given to the “body” field prior to selecting the “Ad an Image” button, otherwise, the image/s are uploaded but there is no gallery created nor is there any apparent way to insert the images into the post.
