• It wiped my website completely and it wiped 3 more website hosted on my server. Now really, do you test these things ? And why is it still available for auto upgrade if you see what problems people have here ?

  • If you have a plain white page and you have plugins that you suspect might be causing the problem (which is entirely possible after an upgrade), then the best thing to do is log on through ftp and delete the plugins from your wp-content/plugins directory. You can then download and activate each plugin seperately afterwards.

    Thank you mrmist!! I started deleting plugins that way, and I also discovered in my php myadmin that the databases appear to be intact. So I think I have all the data, or most of what I need. Still going through the steps.

    Then after I backed up the db, I deleted the rest of the plugins via ftp. (maybe should have done the full backup first?)

    I don’t know, I’m still going through the steps but taking it slow today, after what happened yesterday (too hasty with the upgrade).
