2.8.5 upgrade cleanup problem

  • Trying to run the automatic upgrade to 2.8.5 is leading to a whole set of blind alleys. The latest attempt brings up the following message:-
    “Seems you have not completed the clean up process from last upgrade. Please click here to run the clean up process before continuing”

    What does this mean? I click as indicated and the same screen appears again and again.
