    Hello,

I’m working for a french psychologists association. We have two different worpdress sites.

The two are hosted by the same hosting company (“Netissime”).

Until a few days ago, it was possible to upload a file in the library very easily.

Bu since a few days, it’s impossible to upload a file with the “add btton” in the library for the first one. The second site allow perfectly to upload files with the add button.

This is the WP configuration for the number 1 (the one which have a problem) :

    WP 2.8
    Theme Atahualpa

Installed and activated plugins : Contact Form 7, Event Calendar, Simple Press Forum, User Access Manager, Zerby Login Widget

The difference with the other site on the same Host are :

There is no the “User Manager Access” but I attempted to disactivate it on the first site ( the 2.8 version one) and there is no change.

Is someone has an idea ?

Well, there is some progress : I found the user-access-manager plugin wrote a htaccess file and didn’t destroy it when I enabled it.

So I destroyed the htaccess but it seems thats not sufficient. I don’t understant exactly how it oeds it, but if the javascript message asking me to log in when i was trying to upoad or just to see the library disappeared, it’s still impossible to upload anything.

Is anyone can help me ?

There was a similar problem here but not totally resolved :

Even if I uninstall the plugin, and destroy the htacess file, the upload towards the library is blocked !

And when I reinstall the plugin, i seems to have keeped the previous settings, rights, groups and permissions than before. Though I checked there was no trace of the plugin in the folder “wp-content/plugins”.

    Has someone an idea ?

Weel, I answer to myself ::

In fact, the problem was nothing to do with user-access-manager. This was just a temporal co-occurence which confused me.

Te truth is that the host team activated the safe mode on the server without warning me.

    All is ok now.

so, this subject is “resolved”. Mea culpa. ??
