Upload Images button does not work

  • Currently, under my Media Gallery, when I click on “Upload Images” nothing happens. Its like the link is dead all of a sudden.

    I have read through the sticky posted here, I have deleted all cache twice and gotten rid of stuff in folders as instructed, I’ve updated Flash too. Nothing has worked so far. An upgrade to 2.8.2 might be what we need to do but I am completely intimidated by the process – our blog was set up for us by a web designer so we don’t know the first thing about how this blog is structured.

    We are on a Mac and use Safari, I have tried on Firefox but the problem is the same. This just cropped up today, I did not have any problems with my last post (exactly last week). Our blog is https://www.worthington-photography.com/blog

    Any help or advice that anyone can provide would be greatly appreciated. We love our blog and I am terrified of ruining it!

  • Hi,

    Check with these options:

    -> Disable all the plugins and enable them one by one to find out the culprit.
    -> Upload wp-admin and wp-includes folder again..if it does not help then upgrade your wordpress to the latest version
    -> Assign 766 recursive permissions to wp-contents folder.
