Is it possible to use the WP 2FA plugin to protect the viewing of a webpage?

What I want to do is when a random public person tries to access a specific webpage, I’d like to have them first enter their email address and then the system will email them a link to view the page in question for a period of time?

All the discussion I’ve read deals with users in the WP system using 2FA to login, but I’d like to do the above to somewhat restrict access to certain pages. I can’t do the normal password access because these are random people trying to access a page.

    Hello @emfjsullivan

Thank you for showing interest in our plugin.

WP 2FA adds two-factor authentication to an existing authentication system, in this case, WordPress’ authentication system.

However, this plugin cannot used to add a new “authentication control / mechanism” as you need. I’m afraid you need to look for another solution.

All the best with finding a plugin that meets your requirements.
