• Since the latest update, when i try to login, it always claims that my TFA code is wrong (2-factor time-based).
    So i deactivated the plugin, just to get back into WP admin, then checked what’s wrong with my 2FA settings.
    Apparently the code shown in the 2FA settings is totally different to the code generated by, for example, Google Authenticator. So i reset the key, and set it up freshly both in AIOS plugin as well as my Authenticator App, making sure it’s both time-based and the setup key is identical as shown by AIOS. But still, same issue. The TFA codes just don’t match up anymore, as such i can no longer use 2FA.

    Was something changed which broke 2FA, or could something else be causing this bug?

    Hi @everade,

    Do you have very old version of AIOS from there do you have updated ?

    The recent update does not have this as the general issue that the Authenticator app code does not match.

    Does the Google Authenticator setup show the correct {domain_name}: {username} as per your site?

    Do just your username have this issue with the site ? you may create another admin user and try check.

    You can add TWO_FACTOR_DISABLE constant in wp-config.php as per below and try it will disable 2FA for all users. So you do not have to deactivate the whole AIOS plugin.

    define('TWO_FACTOR_DISABLE', true);

    Regards
