That isn’t a Wordfence error. We use Google ReCaptcha V3 which scores visits based on whether or not Google thinks you are a human or a bot. That sounds like a V2 captcha or another captcha that relies on you solving a puzzle to prove you are human. Please turn off other security plugins by renaming their folders in the /wp-content/plugins directory to something else, like jetpack.old for example.
This is the reason we tell people not to use 2 plugins that touch the same functionality (in this case the login functionality). You will invariably get conflicts and errors and not know where to start when trying to figure out what caused an issue.
