    Hello,

I have a question: is it possible to use 2FA login for multiple persons? I mean, I have one WordPress-account: will it be possible that multiple persons can login with this single WordPress-account all of the persons with 2FA enabled?

  • If you add the 2FA code do a device or a KeepassXC database that’s stored in a location you both can access, yes. Otherwise no.

    Hi @rodricus,

SVT is correct. Also, if you were able to screenshot the QR code for the other user(s) to scan, check you’re all getting the same codes in your authenticator apps, then verify it in Wordfence with 1 user as normal, all who’ve scanned the code should be able to access.

From a security and auditing standpoint, I would always recommend individual admin accounts. If you did want to implement this, you can create the admin accounts in WordPress normally, then set Wordfence > Login Security > Settings > 2FA Roles to “Required” for administrators and set a grace period that allows all users to log in with username/password and set up their own 2FA.

    Thanks,
    Peter.
