Hi @awaecnan, thanks for reaching out to us.

Note that Wordfence’s Login Security module is designed for the default Login/Registration forms in WordPress and WooCommerce so any custom pages, modal popups, or pages generated through user management/membership plugins will likely not be compatible with the login flow expected to verify reCAPTCHA and 2FA with Wordfence.

When setting up 2FA for a new user role in Wordfence > Login Security > Settings, you’ll need to set a lenient grace period if 2FA will be “Required” so that users have time to log in without and set it up themselves from their Edit Profile pages. Wordfence adds a Login Security section to this page to manage 2FA where they’ll be presented with the QR they need to get started.

There’s also further helpful information here: https://www.wordfence.com/help/login-security/

    Thanks,
    Peter.

    Hi @awaecnan,

Are you logging in via /wp-admin or /wp-login.php when you sucessfully see the 2FA input whereas other users are using the form at the members… address? Let me know if the “Staff” users are going in through the members form or the default WordPress ones above too.

I would expect the login flow of the form on the members page to possibly not present the 2FA input box as it seems to be custom.

    Thanks again,
    Peter.
