I have just installed the plugin, and completed the configuration. But I can still log in as usual – no 2FA prompt appears.

    Please advise

    Thanks

    Hello @lacanela

Thank you for trying our plugin. I am sorry to read about your issue. Can you please answer the below questions so that we can start troubleshooting this issue?

    1) Are you using the default WordPress login page or a custom one?

    2) When you configured the plugin, have you configured 2FA for your user account or just the plugin settings (and policies etc)?

    3) What version of WordPress are you running?

Looking forward to hearing from you.

I have tried to remove the grace period, but the situation is still the same.

    Hello @lacanela

Today we have released update 1.5.1, which is a hot fix for the issue you reported. Can you please download the latest edition and reconfigure 2FA? That should do the trick.

Please let us know of the outcome once you update the plugin.

Thank you very much for your cooperation and patience.

I have updated to 1.5.1, but what kind of reconfiguration are you referring to?
The configuration wizard is no longer available in settings -> two factor authentication.
I have also tried to delete the plugin completely y reinstall it (ver. 1.5.1), but my existing settings are still there and the configuration wizard does not come up.

Sorry, I should have explained this better @lacanela

Please navigate to your profile page, scroll down to the bottom of the page and click the Configure two-factor authentication button.

Can you please confirm you can setup 2FA?

I can confirm that 2FA now works!
However, I have now two entries in the Google Authenticator app. How do I delete the first entry (that no longer works)?

Never mind, I have just figured it out myself.

So in conclusion: now everything works OK.
