• I just completed moving another blog over to WP. This one was a little more difficult than the first as it is a skinned site. Other than some CSS tweaking to get it over, it went quite well. The design is not mine btw but it has Moxie by https://www.blogmoxie.com which was designed for me for MT. I’m going to try to put together a new skin myself when I get some time. God only knows what that will look like. I’m not that great on visual but I’m working on it. ;d
    Now I need to get one of my favorite scripts working by ScriptyGoddess https://www.scriptygoddess.com. My show/hide comments is not playing nice. Went without a hitch on my other blog.. grrrr.
    The other thing I can’t figure out is what are the ” ???? ” in my About and my Favorites page at the top? I’m wondering is it because I used a stripped version of the index? I wanted to do that so I could have my Links on a separate page. I’m determined to find out the answer. Meanwhile, that is two blogs down. The other two I have are photoblogs which I may just leave where they are … for now.
    Every support question I had I found here through searching. So thank you all that responded to others as I successfully found my answers here and there.

    Got the show/hide comments to work! Yippiee, ended up editing my wp-dropdown-comments and the get command relieving them of some spaces. Blew away the cache and there it was. I was now able to have it worded the way I wanted.
    Still trying to figure out the ” ??? ” . It doesn’t seem to be breaking anything it’s just annoying me. ;d

    Look ma, no spaces! Oisin, I could have sworn I looked at that. But then with all the tweaking here and there I might have just overlooked that I didn’t actually check it. I should have looked at it in Opera before posting. Thanks for the heads up.

    Glad to be of assistance ??
    Nice to see… err, I mean not see the problem fixed…
    One little hint: In your search form, the input field and the submit button have adjoining borders, which makes a thicker border where they touch. I think it would look nicer if they didn’t do that. One way to do this would be to, in your .php files (index.php, etc.), give the submit button an id, and then in your style sheet declare it like this:
    #submitbutton {
    border-top: 0;
    }

    – assuming you call the submit button “submitbutton” when you give it an id.
    That would make the two boxes appear right on top of each other, but no double border.
