• Hi,

Since years, I use PHP Everywhere on all my important pages. They all just broke due to the new update. I’m using your plugin in combination with Thrive Themes/Thrive Architect so there’s no way to integrate Gutenberg blocks.

    Three questions:
    – Will you reintroduce the widget/shortcode feature shortly?
    – If not, can you recommend an alternative plugin that have a widget/shortcode functionality?
    – Because the widgets are gone on the back-end, I can’t see or access my custom PHP-scripts anymore. How can I retrieve them?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

I assume the “PHP Everywhere Upgrade” page is supposed to show the code snippets, but it does not – see screenshot here.

    Hi everyone,

it seems that my replies in the pinned thread have been deleted. You may downgrade to version 2.0.3 of the plugin through this link: https://www.ads-software.com/plugins/php-everywhere/advanced/

You can download the old version of the plugin as a zip file there and restore it to your new site. I do not recommend this because of the security risks, though.

I currently do not plan to reintroduce the shortcode and widget in a newer version of the plugin. In this case, you can downgrade to 2.0.3 to migrate your code to another plugin.

In case the Widget code does not show up on the migration screen, a downgrade to your plugin will help you to get your code back, so you can migrate to the newer version properly.

    Best regards,

    Alex
