3.0 Issues: Cannot Add Order, email not sent for new order or other status

    My site is https://shop.vogdrobe.com

    My issues is when I updated to WooCommerce 3.0 and I can’t create order in the Order page. It just won’t let me type any customer name, Can’t add product, clicking the button but nothing would happen.

    Another issue is the email, no email will send after the customer place the order, have to do resend for everytimes.

    I hope the Woocommerce developers will come soon with a more permanent fix.

    I also have the same issue – no order emails being received.

    I have applied the functions file snippet and waiting to get the next order so I can see if it will work.

    Currently having to manually send the emails which is not an option long term.

    It would be nice if there was some official acknowledgement that an issue exists.

    Yes, I agree about the official acknowledgement. Maybe you could test the snippet with a test order, so you don’t have to wait?

    @iamhere in my stituation 2 thinks was needed to solve the problem.
    1) I add this line of code: dd_filter( 'woocommerce_defer_transactional_emails', '__return_false' ); to the functions.php
    2) I was uninstall almost all plugins and problem was solved. One of the plugins was making conflict and this why email log was empty. It is important that I don’t have any errors that would indicate a conflict. Also at first time i only disable the plugins and this was not help. Only uninstall help with this issue.

    Maybe try add this line of code and uninstall unnecessary plugins.

    Note that it’s best to add the line of code offered by @iamhere to the child theme’s function.php if available instead of the main theme. Otherwise, the first time you update your theme, you will lose the modification.

    Hey, just an update: I did notice there was an update on woo commerce, 3.0.1. I did update it and so far all my problems are fixed. Customers are receiving their emails, as well as I am and I can edit/add products as normal.

    This code did not work for me, neither did uninstalling any plugins.
    What DID work, was doing a yum update on my server, updating all software, rebuilding apache, and restarting all services.

    Same problem here with adding new orders, order total isn’t updating. keeps turning back to 0

    I still having problems to receive any e-mails notifications from Woocommerce. I tried to add the little snippet:

    I had add it to my functions.php file, but I and my clients didn’t receive the e-mails. In the Wp Mail Logging, the e-mails appears sended without errors.

    The WordPress e-mails from ContactForm are sended normaly.

    Do you know for sure you pasted the snippet in your active functions.php file, that is, in the functions.php file of your current theme (or child theme)?
    Check if you have the newest Woocommerce version (3.0.1).
    Disable all your Woocommerce plugins and check if the mails will send now.
    If not, disable all plugins and check.

    I had pasted the snippet in my child theme functions.php file.

    My version of Woocommerce is the last, the 3.0.3. In the Changelog of that version, don’t need use this snippet, so I removed from my file.

    I disabled all plugins, leave just Woocommerce actived and no e-mails are sended.

    I active again Wp Mail Logging and resend the e-mails using the plugin, and it work. So just Woocommerce won’t send e-mails.

    I saw some people suggesting to do a downgrade, but it’s a new store I having setting up, so for me don’t make much sense use a old version.

    Have you updated to latest WC version? They have disabled the deferred sending of emails as default now – so hopefully we are back to “normal”. Obviously a bit of a FU by woo – but they were on to it quickly and now all my sites are working as expected again.

    Yes, I said that in my last post.

    I trying to see get way to find where the problem are happened. Because the email log register all e-mail that woocommerce tried to send. So the Woocommerce is trying but something in the way of it is trying is not working.
