3.16.3 update completely deleted my custom-frontend-lite.min.css file and none of the regenerate tools restore it. Even after rolling back and editing, copying the file from a site running 3.16.2, the page styles are still broken.

For anyone reading: DO NOT INSTALL 3.16.3.

  • And clearly support does not care, based on these threads. No answer from them, closing tickets.

So now we have hundreds if not thousands of sites using an outdated version of the plugin.

Amazing they didn’t bother to actual test this before rolling out. Wish we never would have used this plugin, now were stuck as it’s apart of our theme. YUCK

Avoid, avoid, avoid. and as mentioned DO NOT USE any recent updates.

Hey have you managed to fixed it ?

    Hello @developerws3278324,

    Thank you for contacting us.

The custom-frontend-lite.min.css file is generated dynamically on the fly and it will be regenerated if manually deleted as well.

The issue looks like a conflict from optimization plugins.

    – Deactivate all of your plugins except Elementor. If this solves the problem, gradually activate your plugins one by one, until you spot the problematic plugin. – switch your WordPress theme to WordPress TwentySixteen (or other default WordPress theme) temporarily – and see if it solves your error. I hope this information helped you.

Also, please verify if the file permissions were changed which is preventing the files from being generated.
