3.2.12 breaks byline link

With 3.2.12 update byline no longer links to the author id, but instead links to author display name, which causes a 404 error. In case of multiple authors listed (author 1 and author 2) the link is the same as the entire displayed byline (www.site.com/author 1 and author 2/).

In 3.2.11 this is still the case when I set byline to “Make it point to the main author archive page” but works correctly, when I set it to “Make each name link t author’s archive page – Might not always work! -”

In 3.2.12 both options do the same (the incorrect thing).
