After updating to 3.5 version we have noticed that product loading page is super slow. Home page is fine, browsing categories are fine, just when browsing products itself , it is super slow. Was not like that before update. What to do?

We have a similar problem, not so much with products which are simple but a lot of our products have variations and can be up 6 or 700 variations per product, on our test server the new 3.5 update has brought selecting these options to a complete stand still, on our main sight they are fine and load in less than a second, I think ill start a new topic related to that specifically and see if anyone else has similar issues.

There is another update but it did not solve issue with slow loading. Woocommerce seems to be bloated and not optimised. These random updates where always something goes wrong drive me crazy. Guys don’t seem to test properly before going live. That’s very unprofessional. Seriously im thinking to switch to Magento or something else.

    Hey there,

It’s frustrating when your site slows down. There are a bunch of possible reasons for this, and they’ll differ for each unique site.

Have you had a look at our documentation?

I realize it sounds suspect that you’ve updated to WooCommerce 3.5 and now you’re seeing these issues. It’s likely that it’s more of a combination of things, though, which have surfaced when updating.

If you’d like some initial insights, please share a copy of your site’s System Status? You can find it via WooCommerce > Status.

    Hi Hannah,

It might not be caused by Woocommerce itself but by bunch of plugins which had to be installed to get additional basic functionality. With every single main plugin update there always be other plugin which will fight with it :(. We are already looking into that.
