    Hi all,
the 3.6.0 version broke colors of product reviews, so everything looks black and white.

The issue only happens if you are not logged in (basically a guest of the website), while you are logged in everything looks good.

Roling back to 3.5.2 solves the issue.

  • I discovered the problem on my end: It was a conflict with one of the settings in the WP Disable plugin.

If you enable the setting ‘Disable Dashicons when user disables admin toolbar when viewing site’ when the WordPress admin toolbar is indeed disabled, then you’ll break the colors. This issue is not present when WP Product Review Lite is rolled back to 3.5.2, the above-mentioned WP Disable setting enabled and wordpress toolbar disabled.

So my recommendation? If you have WP Disable installed and activated, then either disable the above setting or enable the WordPress toolbar.

@obitexa thanks for the update! We use dashicons on the front-end as well in the new version so you may want to not disable them ??

@nicolaottomano could you check if you have some similar plugin that disables dashicons on the front-end?

Yes I made a check and the dashicons where indeed disabled on the frontend for non logged users. That explains why, if logged I dont experience the issue.
Thanks @obitexa for pointing it out.

But I disabled the “show button icon” option on WPPR as well, so maybe to solve the bug you only need to check if dashicons are registered or not, right?

@nicolaottomano glad you were able to resolve it! Yes, all you need is to enable dashicons. We will take a look and see if there is a way we can prevent this from happening.
