3.7.1 update blocked logins

  • This has been working fine for me, but it appears the new 3.7.1 version caused my users to be locked out. All login attempts did not complete, just message “sending info, please wait…”. Existing logged in users not effected.

    I moved back to the 3.7.0 version and now working OK again so that seems to confirm it’s the update. Thoughts on the problem?

    We added a login redirect to digest content links because some groups are private and require logging in to access the content.

    However, it shouldn’t conflict with login attempts.

    My guess is you could be using a custom login plugin due to the “sending info, please wait…” message. That message doesn’t exist anywhere in WordPress core. If you are using a custom plugin, can you list it?
