• Hi!

I have a blog that has the admin account (me) and two additional administrator accounts.
We all write posts for that blog, but there is a problem when I try to write. Every post that I make – its author is one of the two additional administrators :/

I tried everything, but there is no way that I make my name in the “authors” list ??

    Any help on that one?

I even tried demote those two accounts into Contributor and later to Author, but the problem is still there.
When I start to write a post, I turn on the Post Author widget, and I can see only that other two accounts, not mine ??

Are you listed as a site member ? In other words join the site again and log in.You may have to slightly change your ID such as adding a middle initial or a number.
When you go to Users in admin panel are you listed as admin and contributor. You may have to change the admin name from “admin” to Your name. Then when you go to the Security tab ,after dashboard log-out and log-in and ctrl+F5 it shoul show no admin, but you can still post as admin and log into dashboard with new admin name and password
Strange but true .It worked for me.

If by site memmbers you mean am I listed in Users section – yes, I am.
And my role there is Administrator. My username is admin, which I cannot change.
But I have entered my nick and full name in my profile, and chose my full name to appear…

We’re having a similar problem on our blog. It’s a family blog and so some posts are written by me and some by my husband. We each have our own account and are listed as administrators.

But occasionally (like wishing our moms a happy Mother’s Day), I’d like the post to show up under the admin account, indicating it’s from both of us.

While all three accounts are listed in the user section (admin, husband, wife), only husband and wife show up as possible authors for a post.
