    Hello,

is it possible to have 3 columns of widgets in the footer? Though I assigned 4 widgets to the footer, only two columns are used and the third one (on the right) looks quite empty. Is that the correct behaviour?

    Thanks

To make this more clearer, here is a screenshot:

Isn’t there supposed to be a third column? Looks really empty…

Yea there should be 3 columns for the widgets. Could you share a link to your site? I’ll need to check it out first hand to figure out exactly what’s going wrong.

    Thanks!

    Sure:

https://better-blogger.de (Don’t know if DNS already has updated it everywhere, but should work).

Just set it up today, so no own content, no PHP edits by me etc. Freshly installed WP and Theme.

Ok thanks that helped a lot. There are CSS classes that are supposed to be added to the widgets that help with the styling, and they are not being added which is causing the widgets to stay in just two columns.

I have two things for you to try. First, if you have any plugins active on your site, deactivate them temporarily and check if the widgets then show in three columns. If this doesn’t work or if there are no plugins, try temporarily switching the sites language to English. You can change the language via the Site Language dropdown in the General Settings (screenshot).

Please let me know if either of those solutions works, and we can continue debugging if necessary.

I had no plugins activated, so that wasn’t the problem. I switched to English and now there are three columns in the footer, like it should be.

FYI, just tried clean install of version 1.47 (previously ran 1.52.) and problem while language is German still persists. When language is English, no problem

Great thanks so much for trying that.

I’m going to rewrite how the widgets are styled to completely avoid this issue. I don’t have an immediate solution for this, but I plan on releasing an update for Ignite Plus with a fix in the next 48 hours.

Thanks, looking forward to it ??
I will put the page in Maintenance Mode, but if you need to take a look at it again for the update, I’ll deactivate that ASAP.
