30 second upload time with Arjuna X

I have been experiencing very long upload times(over 35 to 40 seconds for complete upload) shortly after using Arjuna. So I disabled all of my plugins and went back to the default template which gave me an unload time of under 4.5 seconds. After just changing back to Arjuna(an not even enabling any other plugins) my site is again uploading at over 30 seconds. I tweaked a few things in the settings of Arjuna prior which I don’t think should account for this huge upload time I am getting. Anyone else having a similar problem or have any suggestions? I absolutely love how classy and clean Arjuna looks once my site does appear when using it.
