• Hi,

we have a really strange bug here. In our wordpress site we use HTTPS and a plugin named Quick Page/Post Redirect to forward our old URL’s. Our “Theme” is Dante, which is a bit more than a theme and that’s why we need to use your cool plugin, otherwise the page loads 15 seconds.

But the problem is with the forwarding. Normally, the forwardings are working, from https to http and from old url’s to the new ones, but sometimes they are not.

    for example:

    one landingpage is https://www.pixena.de/google-ranking-verbessern/

it should be also reachable with
    1. https://www.pixena.de/google-ranking-verbessern.html (with .html at the end),
    2. https://www.pixena.de/google-ranking-verbessern/ (without SSL),
    3. https://www.pixena.de/google-ranking-verbessern.html (without SSL and .html at the end)

but if you try all these 4 url’s and refresh them a couple of times, sometimes you will see an soft 404 on the page, which says that no content is there. Also Google indexes one of our landingpage with the title and the content of that 404-page.

When we turn off caching it works, so the problem seems to be here. Do you have experiences with that kind of bug? Do you have solutions in the caching options for it or do you suggest other plugins for forwarding url’s with 301?

Thx a lot for your help
