3.01 installed OK, but can't style 'style.css' from dash

  • Permissions set to 666. I get this message when I update style.css from dashboard editor:

    Forbidden
    You don’t have permission to access /website/wp/wp-admin/theme-editor.php on this server.

    Additionally, a 404 Not Found error was encountered while trying to use an ErrorDocument to handle the request.

    Help!
