301 redirects

    I might like to have the option to redirect via 301. I understand 302 might be better because shortened URLs can be changed, but there are some concerns.

    I could set the version of the plugin to 999 and modify the script myself, but then I wouldn’t get updates. ??

    Whatever you do, thanks for a great, simple shortening plugin.

    Hmm. I think for the sake of flexibility and changes taking effect instantly, it makes since to stick with 302; especially since the redirects we’re talking about are short vanity URLs that you wouldn’t normally index anyways.
