First, here is the site: https://blog.rdygo.com/.

Second, just so we are all on the same page, I work with wordpress everyday, making plugins, making themes, even submitting fixes to the core code. I am a developer. I know what I am doing, usually. Asking on forums for help is typically not my style, simply because I like to investigate and figure it out. But this is stumping me.

    Third, the actual problem:

I installed WordPress 3.0.1 about a week ago, along with some of my favorite plugins. One of my plugins gives me analytics for my site, like what pages are popular, what urls are coming back bad, ect…

Well I got to looking today and this plugin is showing that one of the syndication sites is trying to hit https://blog.rdygo.com/?feed=rss2. Normally, this would be no problem, but my plugin said that it was a bad url. So I tried it, and sure enough, it is a bad url.

Typically, rss2 is the default feed type, so I tried to goto https://blog.rdygo.com/feed/, which should bring up the default feed, no matter what it is. I get redirected to my main blog page.

So I try my last stitch effort of https://blog.rdygo.com/feed/rss2/, which should be specifically the rss2 feed. Still, I get redirected to my main blog page.

Finally, I decided to see if at least regular rss is working at https://blog.rdygo.com/feed/rss/. Sure enough that is working. So I tried atom feeds at https://blog.rdygo.com/feed/atom/ and that works as well.

So I cannot for the life of me figure out why my site is discriminating against rss2. Any ideas?

    Thanks,
    lou
