3.0.2 update analytic problem

    I updated to 3.0.2 and lost analytic plugins. Reactivate both google analytic and google analyticator (do I need both?)

    Now my bounce rate is always 0% or 5%. I read that there might be a double code on my page. I then deactivated analyticator but maybe it is still there? I think I see it on my home page. I am new to this so any help will be GREATLY appreciated.

  • Did you get the situation resolved? I only see one instance of the Google Analytics tracking code in the source code of your webpage.

    I did notice however that the tracking code was located in the footer of your site and the latest analytics code is recommended to be placed in the <head> section of your code instead of the footer.

    Thank you for responding. I panicked and took everything google off and then just put the code back in the bottom. Are you suggesting taking out that code and using the Google Analytics plug in? I thought I read somewhere it is better to insert code because it doesn’t make the pages slow.

    You can use the plugin if you’d like, there are thousands of other people using that plugin and don’t have any issues with it ??
