I really like this plugin, but I’ve updated it on a few sites today and on each one I had to go back in and redo all the settings. Is there a way for the update to keep the settings?

(Better yet, an export/import function would be great so it would be great to make it quick and easy to duplicate login screens from one site to another.)

I’m also having an issue with this message: “Allow Custom Login to anonymously track how this plugin is used and help us make the plugin better? Opt-in and receive a 20% discount code for any plugin on our site. No sensitive data is tracked.” I’ve clicked Allow and I’ve clicked Disallow, and no matter what the prompt won’t go away.

Was there no update notification? I’ve built in the update script which should show up as a notification when you update to 3.x.

The opt-in notification should disable its self when you click dismiss not check/uncheck the setting checkbox.

I will try to replicate these issue if I can. Let me know if you continue having issues with upgrading to the new settings.

Thanks for the quick response. I’ll try it on another site I have it on when I get a chance and see if I just missed a step.

If no update notice is shown try visiting wp-admin/options.php?page=custom-login-upgrades which should run through the upgrade manually.

    I have the same issue
after update I can`t get rid of the message: “Allow Custom Login to anonymously track how this plugin is used and help us make the plugin better? Opt-in and receive a 20% discount code for any plugin on our site. No sensitive data is tracked.”

    this annoying

To solve this I have to ftp delete the directory and to upload again the plugin.
unInstall form plugins page doesn’t work….

@angelmoure I’m sorry about that. I don’t know why FTP delete would work over delete from the delete button as the latter deletes all data and settings.

The only thing I can think of is if some file didn’t get transferred properly in the update from dot org. Did the “Do not allow” buttun trigger it fading out and back with a red or error like response?

When you click allow or disallow nothing happened…

I just did an update on another site and it didn’t have any of the issues I listed.
