    Hello,

I just updated to the latest version today and it seems to be stuck in test mode. I have not made any changes, other than turn on the new partial payments by default option.

I checked my paypal settings. Correct email and the test mode option is turned off. It is sending everyone to PayPal’s Sandbox test site.

    thanks

Sure, it is going to be fixed in next release which is planned for Monday.

But you can try pulling development version with the fix from github. https://github.com/UsabilityDynamics/wp-invoice

    Thanks.

Nah.. I’m good for the moment.. I’ll wait for the perm fix.. the stopgap measure works in the meantime..

Look slike in all of these changes I DID lose invoices.. Looks like many of my archived and older paid invoices are GONE GONE GONE… **sigh**

Invoices are stored in wp_posts and wp_postmeta tables so you should not lose any if nothing was done with these tables. The instructions above were about wp_options table.

Right.. yet MANY older invoices are now gone.. Found some by converting revision records in my wp_posts table to invoices.. But lost a LOT.. Thinking seriously about looking at an open source invoicing solution and breaking this part of my business out of WordPress..

You are right. WordPress is initially not for this purpose but it can be used with small business that doesn’t expect too much responsibilities.

Anton.. I am NOT a large business by ANY stretch of the imagination, but I EXPECT that my invoice plugin will not LOSE historical invoice and quote records. If this is just supposed to be “the way it is”, then this is a SERIOUS gap in the functionality of your plugin that should be addressed or AT LEAST disclosed to the users of this plugin..

    **SMH**

To that end I now will need to look at a different invoicing solution.. For me, WP-Invoice has one too many “features” that have impacted my business in a negative way..

I understand you but as I already mentioned plugin doesn’t make invoices to disappear by itself. That may be caused by server crash for example. Then restored from backup db or so.

Yeah.. okay.. interesting this happened right at the same time I upgraded.. but no matter.. I’m moving on.. gonna try and recover my data and find a plugin or open source app more suitable for my needs..
