3.1.3 Udate Tag function no longer works

  • I updated to 3.1.3 and neither category nor tags functions now work when I clicked no them. All I pulled up was a page not found message. I fixed the category function by adding the following to my permalink Category base window:

    ?category_name=

    I tried the same for tags, but all it does is pull up the homepage, which is better than nothing. Does anyone have any insight, solution to this problem. I depend heavily on tags for certain navigation features.

    ok… I found a solution to the tag problem. you must add the follow to the tag base window on the permalinks panel:

    ?tag=

    That solved my problem. Make sure you clear you cache, both browser and supercache if using. BTW my theme is Atahualpha

    Curious to find out if anyone else has had this problem…

    Hi kredacter,

    I am having a problem where my tags won’t work. I use tags to control the feature panel on my homepage so not being able to use tags is creating HUGE problems for me. When i type “feature” in the tag area of my post and press the “add” button nothing happens. I just updated to wordpress 3.3.2 but that didn’t fix the problem. Any suggestions?
