Managing Comments

  • hey guys,

    I was wondering what is the most efficient way to manage comments. currently on one of my pages, I have been receiving quite a few comments and I have them all shown on one page. Is there a way to paginate them and show the latest one on top?

  • I’ve been looking for a method of changing comment sort order since I first started using WP. Thought I must be the only one….

    I think it doesn’t really make sense to have the latest on the top. Let’s say you have an interesting post and 30 people commented it. So, now when I go to read the whole stuff, after reading the post, I have roll down (or even worse, if pagineted, click here and there) to read the comments in their chronological order, since usually the commenters reply not only to the post but also to each other…

    Moshu, I guess that makes alot of sense for individual post, but on my page, I use it to help people through setup problems and most of the old comments become obsolete as I update my addon for the game. So I think it would be more beneficial to have it show the latest on the top.

    Does anyone have the link to paginate comments or is it a default function that i missed?

    EDIT: Oh, thanks for making a plugin for it.
