Since the last update Facebook Open Graph information is broken for me. If I disable the share buttons in Jetpack, functionality returns as expected.

Example: This is what Facebook sees as an og:description with the Jetpack Share Buttons enabled.

Any help will be greatly appreciated!

    Jetpack Mechanic ??

When you share a post on Facebook, or when Jetpack Publicize publishes a post to your Facebook page, Facebook crawls the page and looks for Open Graph meta tags in the head to build a complete post preview (with an image, title, description, …).

Jetpack automatically creates these Open Graph Meta tags for you unless you already use another Open Graph plugin, in which case we let the other plugin handle things.

Looking at your site, it seems you use another Open Graph plugin, but you haven’t configured it yet. As a result, there are no Open Graph meta tags on your site, and Facebook just grabs the first few words of your posts. Since your sharing buttons are set to appear before the post content, that’s what Facebook grabs.

If you configure your Open Graph plugin, and start displaying Open Graph meta tags, Facebook will then use these instead of manually grabbing content from the beginning of your posts.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you Jeremy,
You were correct, this one was 100% on me. ??

I had something in my functions.php files that I needed earlier in dev. that broke the OG info.

    Thanks
    Jeffrey
