3.3 admin-bar color scheme (text contrast)

  • I personally am having trouble with the light grey text on the darker background. I’m very myopic and have issues with color contrast. and I noticed this: I was mucking around with a screenshot and found if you change the color of the text to something a little brighter the readability increases quite a bit.

    I am worried that people with worse vision issues than me might have issues.

    Yes, my monitor’s brightness/contrast/gamma is set correctly.

    I also tried the blue admin bar plugin and didn’t particularly like it (it stuck out too much for me on the front-end).

    I hate it when people post stuff that’s vaguely related but has nothing to do with the subject, but… you can remove it on the front-end (it’s somewhere in the settings). But on the backend you cannot except by downgrading and that’s not recommended to downgrade. (I did for a while because I was moving house and didn’t have time to troubleshoot conflicting plugins.)
