Hello, I am working on a site for a client and they would like the pages using the Nextgen gallery to resemble this:

    https://lovejoydesigns.net/about

However, the gallery pages: /featured-products and /portfolio only work when they are assigned to the same template as the blog page /design-lab. Even if the gallery pages are given the default template they stop working. Does anyone know a way to make the galleries function (show links to images) without using the same layout as the blog template?

    Thanks,
    Jenn

Basically the issue is that both the blog theme and the gallery pages only seem to work when both header.php and footer.php are used in the template. I need the gallery pages to show a different header image and no sidebar. Has anyone had any experience with this? Maybe I need to edit functions.php? I’ve been using different header templates in other areas of the site with no issues. I just need the Portfolio and Featured Products pages to use a different template than the blog.

If you change your css to temporarily color the backgrounds of the divs in the entry content area, you can test to make sure that your divs are not clashing and putting an invisible “force-field” around your thumbnails.

    Thanks lok1728!
