3.3.4 shortcode no longer working

I have just upgraded to 3.3.4 on WP 3.5.2 and my sliders have disappeared. reverting to 3.3.1 brings them back.
I am using this code to display my promo slider
<?php echo do_shortcode(‘[promoslider width=”100%” height=”100%” category=”home-promo” ]’); ?>
Has this changed?
