    Try editing default.css and adding:

    .page-template-forumpage-php #container,.page-template-forumpage-php #content {width:962px;}
.page-template-forumpage-php .single-post {
margin-right:0;}

    Hi Esmi,

    I am also trying to change the colours of the dark gray bars in the forum to a much lighter shade, so that the text in the bars will be readable.

    If you had any ideas about this as well, that would be fantastic ??
